Client Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Service Manager to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. As a Client Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, a successful Accountancy Practice in central Plymouth.
You will be working closely with our clients to prepare and review financial statements, ensuring that all statutory requirements and deadlines are met. This will involve visiting client sites, preparing tax computations and tax returns, and managing client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements for client businesses
- Audit of financial statements for client businesses, including visits to client sites
- Prepare tax computations and tax returns for client businesses and individuals as required
- Maintain a client portfolio, including quoting, fee and statutory deadline management
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, dealing with telephone calls and correspondence from clients and HMRC
- Manage appointments with clients for pre and post year-end meetings
- Train and support junior members of staff
- Manage the accounts production workflow as part of the office management team
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to provide a comprehensive client service
Requirements:
- Previous audit experience is essential
- Qualified by exams or experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in dealing with clients in person
- IT skills, with working knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Xero
- Ability to guide and train junior members of staff
