About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Colleague Experience. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our colleague experience and make a lasting impact on our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the voice of the colleague and ensure their perspectives are heard and considered in all decision-making processes.
  • Oversight of key people aspects, including engagement, employee relations, equity, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Drive loyalty among our people by creating a compelling and constantly evolving colleague experience.
  • Lead on our company-wide approach to fostering positive Employee Relations and interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee our HR Helpdesk service administration team to ensure efficient and effective support for colleagues and people leaders.
  • Partner with other teams within the People function and wider business to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Contribute to our broader organisational objectives and ongoing evolution by ensuring alignment through partnership and collaboration with stakeholders across HC-One.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level and CIPD Qualified to Level 7 (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years' recent experience of working in a senior leadership People/HR role with line management and leadership experience.
  • Proven experience pioneering, developing and implementing successful employee engagement initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering significant people change, sustainable and at scale, in a federated multi-site organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build outstanding relationships and create an inspiring vision.
  • Commercially astute and able to develop and convert strategy into delivery across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Able to demonstrate elements of applying principles of design thinking and/or human-centred design in the approach to work.
