CDD Services (Synchronicity Care Ltd) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Facilities Management to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management and strategic direction of our Estates Services.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Facilities Management will hold ongoing accountability for the strategic oversight, administration, technical guidance, and specialized leadership in the delivery of Estates Services on behalf of CDD Services. This includes:
- Management of Capital Projects
- Oversight of Clinical Engineering
- Contract and Performance Management of Estates Services
- Building Maintenance and Engineering Services
- Implementation of Health and Safety Programs
- Management of Medical Devices and Equipment
- Property Management and Technical Support
This role requires collaboration with various teams, including Contract and Performance Management, Facilities, and Procurement, to ensure a seamless service delivery.

CDD Services operates as a distinct entity under the County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, dedicated to providing a range of non-clinical services. We offer competitive employment terms and conditions, distinct from national NHS standards.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent
