Role Overview

As a Wealth Management Associate at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Private Bankers and Wealth Managers in their efforts to attract, serve, and retain clients, thereby contributing to the overall business goals. You will serve as a primary contact for clients regarding daily operational inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update client records, manage contracts and agreements, and prepare various reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate schedules for relationship managers and clients to ensure effective time management and seamless communication.
  • Process transactions, manage expense reports, and handle routine requests to allow relationship managers to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Gather information on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to assist relationship managers in delivering informed advice and customized solutions.
  • Analyze client data, prepare performance reports, and provide insights to guide portfolio adjustments and client recommendations.
  • Manage communication with clients through various channels, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and relaying important information.
  • Support relationship managers in planning, tracking, and executing complex client projects by managing timelines and resources, identifying potential challenges, and proactively communicating updates.
  • Assist clients with everyday banking tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account management.
  • Guide new clients through account opening processes, explaining terms and conditions, and setting up online access.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries related to account balances, statements, transactions, and fees while maintaining confidentiality and data security.

  • Resolve issues by identifying and selecting appropriate solutions based on technical expertise.
  • Communicate complex information effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison for stakeholders outside your immediate function, building a network of contacts within and outside the organization.
