The Client Relationship Associate will deliver exceptional service to clients in collaboration with Private Bankers, focusing on Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver an outstanding client experience by thoroughly understanding their challenges and offering innovative solutions.
  2. Collaborate with Private Bankers and maintain close communication with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  3. Assist in implementing specific account strategies, proposing solutions, and negotiating standard transactions.
  4. Support Private Bankers in prospecting efforts and strengthening existing client relationships.
  5. Provide sales assistance to Private Bankers and coordinate with product specialists and transaction support teams to execute client decisions and ensure effective follow-up.
  6. Work alongside On-Boarding and Client Services teams to facilitate account openings, transactions, cash management, and investments, ensuring the completion of necessary documentation.
Compliance & Processing Assurance
  1. Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.
  2. Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions and servicing clients, escalating and managing any risk or control issues.
  3. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and trustworthiness in handling sensitive client information.
  4. Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes for enhanced efficiency.
  5. Stay informed and adapt to changes in business processes and policies.
Knowledge and Experience:
  1. Demonstrated experience in a Private Banker support role.
  2. Experience in a front office environment with direct client interaction.
  3. Extensive knowledge of all CPB banking systems, platforms, and capabilities.
Skills:
  1. Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Proactive and driven, with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  3. Capacity to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  4. Able to challenge the status quo and continuously improve processes within one's area of responsibility.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
Qualifications:
  1. A recognized banking background in front office, investments, and transaction management.
  2. A solid understanding of processing within a complex systems environment.
  3. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

The Certification Regime is part of the Individual Accountability Regime that has been in effect since March 2016.

To comply with the Certification Regime, Citi entities must ensure that an employee does not perform a Certified Role without being certified as Fit and Proper. Therefore, candidates will be assessed against these requirements through interviews, self-disclosures, criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks, and other background screenings.
