Event Coordination Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordination Specialist to play a pivotal role at Sandwood Events Ltd. This position involves orchestrating a variety of events, such as celebrations, conferences, product unveilings, client excursions, and incentive gatherings. The successful candidate will also have the chance to engage in account management, nurturing existing client relationships while contributing to the acquisition of new business.

Sandwood Events Ltd. is a contemporary and innovative event management firm dedicated to crafting unforgettable experiences, trips, celebrations, and events. The Event Coordination Specialist will be part of a small yet exceptional team that has achieved remarkable success over the past few years. Each project is distinct, and the ideal candidate will thrive in this creative environment. At Sandwood Events, we prioritize building relationships and getting to know our clients to ensure their events are tailored to their unique preferences. The Event Coordination Specialist will actively develop client relationships, with the potential to manage their own projects in the future.

This role operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexible working options available. The Event Coordination Specialist will occasionally be required to work outside these hours, including weekends, and may involve international travel. Remote work opportunities are also available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional events for Sandwood Events Ltd.'s clients, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships throughout the planning and execution phases.
  • Assist in project management, including logistics, production, and communication.
  • Develop, support, and present proposals to potential clients.
  • Manage event budgets effectively.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all project payments, safeguarding profit margins on individual accounts.
  • Act as a resource for Sandwood Events Ltd. to aid in business acquisition and upselling opportunities.
  • Contribute significantly to achieving annual revenue targets and fostering company growth.
  • Conduct meetings with the project team to share updates or changes regarding events.

Optional Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of the company’s social media presence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in the event management sector.
  • Professional and presentable demeanor.
  • Ability to comprehend and enhance client requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, dedicated to delivering outstanding events.
  • Strong work ethic, capable of handling a diverse range of daily challenges.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with effective planning skills essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with both clients and key suppliers.
  • Proactive approach, willing to ask questions for clarity.
  • Numerate and literate.
  • Preferably possess skiing skills for client ski trips.
