Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team at an iconic venue in Clapham. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the venue, including maintenance, repairs, and event setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead repairs and maintenance across departments, ensuring all areas of the venue are well-maintained and safe for guests.
  • Manage furniture and equipment, overseeing counts and upkeep to ensure the venue looks its best.
  • Order and manage operational stock, ensuring timely deliveries and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain all internal and external areas, including common spaces and event areas.
  • Ensure the highest levels of health and safety, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Support events, working closely with event promoters to ensure smooth load-ins and problem-solving any venue setup issues.
  • Be a team player, ready to jump in and support other departments as needed to maintain the venue's reputation.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit with experience in handling deliveries and maintaining goods.
  • Skilled in general building maintenance, including painting, fixing furnishings, and other tasks.
  • Familiar with basic administrative tasks, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience setting up and breaking down events.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and a strong team player.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Electrical or plumbing experience.
  • Experience leading ordering processes and stock checks.
  • Comfortable managing data.
