About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at Pertemps. As a key member of our site operations team, you will provide administrative support to our site management team and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gate Access and Visitor Management: Control access to the site, greet and manage visitors and contractors.
  • Telephone and Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide administrative support to the site management team.
  • Site Inductions and Access Cards: Organize and coordinate site inductions, process access cards, and ensure compliance with site security protocols.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain: Manage incoming deliveries, frank outgoing mail, and arrange parcel collection via courier.
  • Expense Management: Process expenses for the Plant Manager, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Meeting and Event Planning: Coordinate and book conference rooms, arrange travel and accommodation for employees, and manage event logistics.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the site management team, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • System Administration: Maintain accurate records, update training plans, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Education: Educated to a minimum of GCSE level, including Maths and English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
