We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrative Support Specialist for a well-established and reputable business. The overall purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the site management team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gate access, greeting and controlling Visitors/Contractors
  • Dealing with telephone calls and correspondence
  • Organising site inductions and processing access cards
  • Dealing with incoming deliveries and stock management
  • Franking of any outgoing post and arranging parcel collection via courier
  • Processing expenses for Plant Manager
  • Minute taking for Group & Safety Meetings
  • Booking hotels, training, and rental car hire
  • Ordering stationery, PPE, and chemicals
  • Booking on site conference room
  • Updating training plans and personnel training record files
  • Updating Purchase Order sheet
  • System use of SRM and SAP
  • Raising Purchase orders
  • Invoice Goods Receipting
  • Input of Operations team hours
  • Monthly Reports - Trailer filling records

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role
  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE level including Maths & English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
