About the Role

We're VIVID Housing, a vibrant and inclusive organization that supports and develops the best people. We're recruiting for an Empty Homes Supervisor to join our team, covering the South Hampshire area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Line manage a team of multi-disciplined trades staff to deliver a first-class repairs and maintenance service.
  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular work in progress and post-work inspections to maintain quality assurance.
  • Identify and address training needs for your team to ensure they remain fully skilled.
  • Work with your team to reduce complaints and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Take responsibility for costs within your team and ensure best value is achieved.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in maintenance and repairs, preferably in a supervisory/senior position.
  • Existing knowledge and experience of voids processes within the social housing sector is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing a team.
  • Confident communication skills, remaining professional and calm under pressure.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets and improving service.
  • Suitable transport to work from various locations, sites, and properties.
