About the Role

Cutover is seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product and engineering organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Collaborative Automation SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Own and refine our ways of working processes within a squad(s) to optimize for flow, facilitating retros, planning, stand-ups, and sprint reviews to ensure the best possible value is taken from these ceremonies.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate between key stakeholders, product managers, engineering, and QA engineers to ensure timely delivery of code to our users.
  • Release Schedule Management: Own key decision points around adjustments to release schedules for your squad, including owning the delivery roadmap.
  • Communication and Transparency: Encourage transparency and ensure communication is broadcast when changes, risks, or challenges arise within the squad.
  • Squad Leadership: Work closely with your tech lead and product manager to form a strong squad leadership model, focusing on software delivery and enablement.
  • Engineer Experience Enhancement: Make the day-to-day experience for our engineers easier by reducing distractions and limiting context switching, and addressing blockers and having difficult conversations with external stakeholders when necessary.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in configuring and utilizing Jira Cloud, with a strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP, and technical knowledge of development processes and source control (e.g., GitHub).
Requirements
  • Agile Experience: Some experience in an agile environment, with a good understanding of scrum and kanban methodologies.
  • Risk Mitigation: Ability to navigate and mitigate risks and dependencies for your squad.
  • Communication Skills: A good communicator, experienced in working with a range of stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and designers.
  • Product Delivery Knowledge: A fair understanding of the entire product delivery process, from ideation to delivery.
  • Lifelong Learning: Consider yourself a lifelong learner, inspiring those around you to gain a better understanding of software product development.
  • Delivery Mindset: A delivery-oriented mindset, with a willingness to get into the detail, context, and platform itself (Cutover) and own the features that your squad(s) build.
