Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel, a part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring a consistent and high-quality culinary product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all HACCP standards and Health and Safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas, focusing on achieving profitability targets and driving business growth.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills and attention to detail, and actively involved in training and developing the kitchen team.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to achieve kitchen goals and objectives, maintaining open communication and a positive team dynamic.
