About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to join our team at IKEA Greenwich. As a key member of our food team, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistently excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain global and national compliance standards to ensure a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Support and coach colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer has a consistently excellent shopping experience.
  • Contribute to the implementation of processes to secure food safety, standards, and reduce waste.
  • Act upon customer feedback, recognizing good customer service and taking appropriate action to avoid repeated problems.
  • Build the competence of the team through regular coaching, support, and encouragement.
Requirements
  • 2 years of leadership experience or ready for the next step.
  • Experience in leading a high-volume business, fast-paced, and organized.
  • Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines.
  • Proven track record of delivering business performance.
  • Ability to maintain effective work and leadership behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure.
What We Offer
  • Starting salary £26,000 per annum, based on competence and experience.
  • 39 hours per week, working 5 days a week, various shifts between 7am - 11pm, alternate weekends off.
