Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our esteemed quality assurance team on a fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in guaranteeing that our services deliver safe, high-quality, and clinically effective care, while ensuring an exceptional experience for both patients and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the Nursing and Quality team. Your contributions will be essential in promoting good governance and facilitating organizational learning and improvement.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and uploading data from diverse sources, including benchmarking, clinical audits, complaints, incidents, and compliance metrics.
  • Assisting in the preparation of critical reports and documents that assure stakeholders of the quality of care provided.
  • Supporting clinical teams in executing quality initiatives by maintaining accurate incident records and providing necessary data and analysis.
  • Proactively managing and distributing relevant information and records.
  • Assisting the Associate Directors and Head of Patient and Carer Experience with their workload.
  • Providing administrative support for committees and key working groups, ensuring accurate documentation of discussions and actions.
  • Acting as the administrator for Nursing and Quality databases, offering training and support to staff, and generating regular reports.
  • Maintaining the Nursing and Quality SharePoint site.
  • Supporting various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, organizing training events, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Fostering strong working relationships with members of the Nursing and Quality Directorate and other collaborating teams.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
  • Effective time management skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in office or team administration.
  • Proficiency in working with IT databases and systems, including Microsoft Office for report and presentation creation.
