We are currently seeking a Quality Co-ordinator to join our expanding team in Cardiff and Newport. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our services and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.


As the primary authority on Quality Assurance, you will oversee effective reporting, monitoring, and review of performance targets. You will also ensure that routine internal audits of service delivery are conducted, taking prompt and appropriate actions in cases of non-compliance.


This full-time role requires a committed individual who aligns with our vision of becoming the premier Quality Home Care provider in the nation.

You should possess a clear vision of outstanding quality and the capability to enhance existing business practices to consistently achieve this.

Main Responsibilities:


- Collaborate with the Franchise Owner, Operations Director, and Registered Manager to ensure service quality meets Company Standards and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and maintain a robust monitoring and evaluation system, reporting any concerns to the RM, Operations Director, and Managing Director.

- Organize and implement a quality assurance program that guarantees the delivery of high-quality services.

- Identify areas for improvement and proactively address them in a professional manner.

- Conduct quarterly audits, ensuring detailed outcomes and action plans are developed and executed based on findings.

- Apply the Company QA framework; perform audits, analyze results, and report back to senior management.

- Address Complaints and Compliments in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures while maintaining accurate records.

- Manage quality monitoring and reviews of all Clients, assisting the Care Manager/Care Coordinator in service reviews.

- Stay updated on regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety and CIW, to support managers in implementing necessary changes.

- Conduct thorough spot checks, service reviews, and audits of documentation.

- Perform initial assessments of new and existing clients, ensuring documentation is of the highest standard.


Qualifications & Experience:
- QCF/NVQ Level 3 in a Health and Social Care related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of CIW quality standards and inspection processes
- Experience in auditing (not limited to care settings)
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care
- Familiarity with healthcare practices and techniques to identify changes in client conditions
- Must possess a valid driving license and access to a vehicle

Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience in maintaining quality compliance and auditing
- Understanding of quality assurance requirements in domiciliary care
- Proficient in general office administrative tasks, including record maintenance and report writing
- Highly process-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong planning and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects
- Resilience under pressure and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Adaptability to grow with the company during periods of change.
