About the Role

The Ambassadors Bloomsbury is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic partnerships to increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed revenue goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships with corporate, meeting and events, and wholesale clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Participate in commercial reviews, forecasting, and activity planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, client events, and other industry functions to promote the hotel's brand and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the hotel's restaurant and bar functions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a similar role within a four-star hotel or hospitality company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
