About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Person to join our team at First Bus Engineering. As a Stores Person, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of material and fuel stocks, as well as the accurate and timely processing of warranty claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Area Stores Manager in the management of material and fuel stocks, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Process warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted.
  • Monitor and manage stock usage, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Ensure that stores areas are kept clean and tidy, and that stock is stored in a secure, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Support the Area Stores Manager in the monitoring and management of stock usage, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all aspects of stock management, including inventory levels, stock movements, and warranty claims.

Requirements

  • Commercial vehicle parts advisory experience.
  • A UK driving licence.
