About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in York. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, taking full responsibility in their absence.
  • Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
  • Contribute to the success of the store by ensuring the highest standard of customer service, achieving targets, maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising, and maximising sales through physical and digital channels.
  • Support with the recruitment and development of volunteers, achieving expectations within campaign activities, and working with the manager to generate stock.
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving results.
  • Commercially driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards.
  • Inclusive approach to developing teams, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
