About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a Relief Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality individual care to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed.
  • Help with shopping and other tasks to ensure residents' needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
  • Previous experience in a care or support environment is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy work setting.
  • Driven to deliver excellent customer service.
  • QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification or equivalent is preferred.
