About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a Relief Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality individual care to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed.
  • Help with shopping and other tasks to ensure residents' needs are met.
Requirements
  • Live within a commutable distance of the estate.
  • Have a warm and friendly demeanor, with ideally some experience in a care or support environment.
  • Be passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Be driven to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.58, with the possibility of up to £12.88.
  • A Relief Contract with flexible hours to be agreed with the manager.
