Position Summary

This newly established position is designed to assist a Rural Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and seasoned Personal Assistant to shape the role, establish processes, and create a framework that enables the Director to concentrate on leading her team and managing client engagements.

Primary Duties

  • Oversee all daily operations, including key responsibilities such as organizing meetings, scheduling appointments, and managing the Director's calendar and correspondence
  • Collaborate with the Director to ensure she has the necessary time and resources to effectively lead her team and serve her clients
  • Act as the initial point of contact for internal staff and clients
  • Handle timesheet submissions and expense reports
  • Manage invoicing processes

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant at a senior level
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills for both self and the Director
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in O365 applications
  • Positive and proactive mindset
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Resilience and determination

Team Context

The Rural Director you will be assisting oversees a team of ten professionals, including surveyors, property managers, and administrative staff. This team primarily provides estate management services to a diverse range of private and institutional clients. Additionally, the Director manages a rural management contract for a national client, supported by teams from multiple regional offices and various other disciplines within the organization.
