Opportunity Summary:

Role Responsibilities:

As a Lead Strategic Advisor, you will assist the UK's defence, intelligence, and military agency clients in navigating multifaceted strategic choices. Engage in comprehensive analysis, develop innovative business frameworks, and evaluate commercial models to assess financial implications. Leverage advancements in technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, and more to foster innovation and respond to disruptions.

Your contributions extend beyond mere planning; they encompass the transformation of strategies into actionable plans, managing transitions, and addressing implementation hurdles. Produce insightful analyses to underpin these strategies, lead teams effectively, and cultivate robust client relationships. Collaborate with technology specialists, continuously refine your expertise, and contribute to organizational growth - turning strategy into tangible outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting Clearance)
  • Experience in a strategic consulting capacity within Defence & Security
  • Engaged in high-level strategic decision-making for complex defence & security initiatives
  • Proficient in managing stakeholder relationships creatively and resolving client challenges
  • Structured analytical thinking with the ability to deconstruct complex issues
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with a track record of conducting analysis and generating insights and recommendations
  • Familiarity with intricate commercial procurements in Defence, major capital projects, or similar sectors

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £45,000 - £75,000 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Annual Bonus: 5%-10%
  • DV Bonus: £6,000 - £7,000
  • Flex Fund: £5,000

  • Annual Leave: 25 Days plus Public Holidays + option to purchase up to 10 additional days
