Opportunity Summary:

In the realm of National Security, the UK Government operates continuously to safeguard its interests. Role Responsibilities:

As a Lead Strategic Advisor, you will assist the UK's defence, intelligence, and military agency clients in navigating multifaceted strategic choices. Engage in comprehensive analysis, develop innovative business frameworks, and evaluate commercial models to assess financial implications. Leverage advancements in technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, and more to foster innovation and respond to disruptions.

Your contributions extend beyond mere planning; they encompass the execution of strategies, management of change, and resolution of implementation hurdles. Produce insightful analyses to underpin these strategies, lead teams effectively, and cultivate robust client relationships. Collaborate with technology specialists, continuously refine your expertise, and contribute to organizational growth - transforming strategic visions into tangible outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • British Passport Holder with active SC or DV (Developed Vetting Clearance)
  • Prior experience in a strategic consulting capacity within Defence & Security and/or the broader Public Sector
  • Involvement in high-level strategic decision-making for complex defence & security initiatives
  • Proven ability to creatively manage stakeholder relationships and resolve client challenges
  • Structured analytical thinking with the capability to deconstruct complex issues
  • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to conduct thorough analysis and generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Familiarity with intricate commercial procurements in Defence, major capital projects, or similar sectors

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: £55,000 - £90,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Annual Bonus: Approximately 10%

DV Bonus: £7,000 - £8,000

Flex Fund: £6,000

Annual Leave: 25 Days plus Public Holidays + option to purchase up to 10 additional days
