Role Responsibilities:

As a Lead Strategic Advisor, you will assist the UK's defence, intelligence, and military agency clients in addressing multifaceted strategic challenges. Engage in thorough evaluations, develop innovative business frameworks, and implement financial models to assess economic implications. Leverage advancements in technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other innovations to foster creativity and adapt to changes.

Your contributions will extend beyond mere planning; they will involve translating strategies into actionable plans, managing transitions, and tackling implementation hurdles. Produce comprehensive analyses to support strategic initiatives, guide teams, and cultivate robust client partnerships. Work alongside technology specialists, continuously refine your expertise, and play a pivotal role in driving business success - turning strategy into tangible outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • British Passport Holder with valid SC or DV (Developed Vetting Clearance)
  • Experience in a strategic consulting capacity within Defence & Security or the broader Public Sector
  • Involvement in high-level strategic decision-making for complex defence & security initiatives
  • Proven ability to creatively manage stakeholder relationships and resolve client challenges
  • Structured analytical thinking with the capability to deconstruct complex issues
  • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to conduct assessments and generate insights and recommendations
  • Familiarity with intricate commercial procurements in Defence, major capital projects, or similar sectors

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: £55,000 - £90,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Annual Bonus: Approximately 10%

DV Bonus: £7,000 - £8,000

Flex Fund: £6,000

Leave Entitlement: 25 Days plus Public Holidays + option to purchase up to 10 additional days
