Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated part-time Patient Services Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, and adaptable, embodying the values of our practice.
The reception team serves as the initial point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in the overall experience at our practice.
As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will:
- Welcome and assist patients upon their arrival, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
- Guide patients in accessing the appropriate services or healthcare professionals efficiently and effectively.
- Support clinicians and management, collaborating as a team to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the practice's appointment system, ensuring smooth operations.
- Process repeat prescriptions in accordance with established protocols.
- Handle incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all patients and colleagues.
- Assist in the management of patient records and ensure accurate data entry.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills relevant to the role.
