Hotel Receptionist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area, and handling all aspects of guest registration and check-in/check-out procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage guest registration and check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of guest information.
- Issue keys to guests and provide clear directions to their accommodation, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
- Keep accurate records of guest arrivals and departures, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated to relevant departments.
- Provide guests with information about local attractions and services, offering additional services such as ordering newspapers or taxis as required.
- Process guest payments and handle any queries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all guest registration forms are completed accurately and in full, in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality, reporting any suspicious activity to management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations and procedures, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
