Legal Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrator to join our client's team in Nottingham City Centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a legal environment, with potential for training and growth. While previous legal experience is preferred, it is not essential; candidates with a strong administrative background are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Legal Aid applications and deal with amendments.
  2. Process invoices in accordance with office procedures.
  3. Manage online diaries, including hearings, filing dates, and ensure hearings/meetings are flagged for allocation.
  4. Chase outstanding documents.
  5. Draft basic court documents and standard letters.
  6. Set up client appointments.
  7. Liaise with clients, the courts, and other professionals both in person, by email, and by telephone.
  8. Open and close files.
  9. Take minutes of meetings.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a legal environment is preferred, but candidates with solid administrative experience will be considered.
  2. Strong communication and organisational skills.
  3. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
