Legal Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join our busy Family department in Nottingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our solicitors and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Processing Legal Aid applications and dealing with amendments
  2. Managing invoices and ensuring timely payment
  3. Coordinating diaries and scheduling hearings and meetings
  4. Drafting court documents and standard letters
  5. Liaising with clients, courts, and other professionals via phone, email, and in person
  6. Setting up appointments and managing files
  7. Ensuring all relevant documents are included on the file for billing purposes
  8. Taking minutes of meetings and maintaining accurate records
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Previous experience in a legal secretarial or administration role
  2. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  3. Competency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
