Legal Administrator Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join our busy Family department in Nottingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our solicitors and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing Legal Aid applications and dealing with amendments
- Managing invoices and ensuring timely payment
- Coordinating diaries and scheduling hearings and meetings
- Drafting court documents and standard letters
- Liaising with clients, courts, and other professionals via phone, email, and in person
- Setting up appointments and managing files
- Ensuring all relevant documents are included on the file for billing purposes
- Taking minutes of meetings and maintaining accurate records
- Previous experience in a legal secretarial or administration role
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Competency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
