Our mission is to be the airport for everyone, regardless of their journey.

Are you a marketing expert with a flair for design, writing, branding, and overseeing projects from inception to completion? If this resonates with you, this position offers numerous opportunities.

Role Overview:

This position will spearhead a significant organization-wide initiative to establish a new Wayfinding strategy and identity throughout the campus. Collaborating closely with external strategy consultants, this role will serve as the crucial link between design/artworking/strategy and project management/printing/installation. It plays a vital part in delivering a major capital expenditure project by 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relevant Wayfinding design standards.
  • Oversee the Wayfinding Strategy consultant to ensure placement schedules align with the PMO critical path and adhere to customer experience strategy, Wayfinding Design Standards, communication best practices, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct copywriting tasks, proofreading, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Guide the briefing process for the artworking team and approve proofs against Wayfinding design standards.
  • Ensure accurate color application across printed materials, attending press approvals as necessary.
  • Guarantee that the placement strategy and artworking process meet the agreed Construction PMO timeline.
  • Facilitate a seamless integration of physical and digital Wayfinding solutions.
  • Address ad-hoc Wayfinding requests across the organization, ensuring all signage is consistent with project implementation (e.g., digital maps, FIDS).
  • Support the Marketing team with additional tasks as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree is preferred, with a minimum classification of 2:2.
  • Relevant marketing or graphic design qualifications are desirable, though experience demonstrating strong transferable skills may suffice.
  • Proven experience in copywriting and proofreading, with strong written English skills for clear customer messaging.
  • Strong project management abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and self-motivated initiative are essential.
  • Familiarity with brand visual identity and guidelines for consumer brands is advantageous.
  • Experience in graphic design, artworking, communications, customer experience, brand management, or the design-to-print process is highly desirable.
  • A demonstrated affinity for design and artworking.
  • Understanding of customer journey principles and experience is beneficial.

Work Environment:

Our employees describe working here as unique, with each day presenting new experiences. We offer a variety of personal, health, and financial benefits, including:

  • Performance-based bonus scheme
  • Discounts at high street shops and restaurants
  • Healthcare program
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Professional development training
  • Discounted travel schemes
