Our Audit Team

Our Audit teams are essential to the economy, with specialist knowledge of sectors, markets, and geographies. Our auditors have the business understanding necessary to deliver robust audits that companies and their stakeholders can trust.

Your Role

As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be a major point of contact within the firm, working closely with the Partner to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at senior levels. You will develop a strong commercial understanding of the audited entities' businesses and identify business and sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a principal point of contact throughout the year, developing a strong commercial understanding of the audited entities' businesses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at senior levels, identifying business and sales opportunities.
  • Recruit, retain, develop, and motivate employees, participating in graduate recruitment and ensuring job appraisal documentation is completed within deadlines.
  • Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales, identifying opportunities for additional billings.

Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Previous experience of managing people.
  • Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation, and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
  • Experience of systems/controls testing, substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
  • Project Management experience.
