Job Title: Special Education Support Assistant

Job Duties:
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assist the qualified teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide one-to-one support for students with SEN
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs and how to support students with SEN
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and listening skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training in supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or other specific needs
Working Conditions:

**About the Role:** As a Special Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development. You will work closely with the qualified teacher to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and provide one-to-one support for students with SEN. You will also help create a positive and inclusive learning environment and assist with classroom management and behaviour support.

**What We Offer:** We offer a competitive salary of £15-£18 per hour, plus PAYE and CPD benefits. You will also have the opportunity to work in a school setting and gain valuable experience working with children and young people.
