About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teaching Assistant to join our team at Sugarman Education. As a Special Education Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support and assistance to our students with special educational needs. This will involve working on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis with children, supporting them in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
Support the implementation of behavioural interventions and strategies to promote positive behaviour management.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student development and progress.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs is preferred.
Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development as required.
