Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within our educational setting. The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to implement individual education plans, assist with learning and personal care needs, and promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students with SEND
  • Support students with their learning and personal care needs
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment

Requirements:
  • Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification
  • Previous experience working with students with SEND (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of supporting students with SEND
  • Ability to assist with personal care needs
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a classroom setting under the guidance of the teaching staff. The environment may be challenging at times, requiring patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
