Job Overview:

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, working closely with the class teacher to implement tailored education plans.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and progress.
Requirements:
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in supporting students with SEN
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a mainstream primary school setting, supporting students with SEN. The work is full-time and temporary, with PAYE benefits.
