Job Title: Business Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team at New Avenues in London. As a key member of our finance and operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage the company's financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  • Manage the company's accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Oversee the company's payroll process, including processing payroll and managing employee benefits.
  • Manage the company's financial reporting, including preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified or nearing the end of a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Relevant previous finance experience, ideally gained within a Media Agency or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can-do attitude, flexible, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Great team player, able to work in a small team environment and willing to take on other responsibilities when required.
  • Highly organized, great attention to detail, and likes to see things through.
  • Friendly, approachable, and self-motivated.
