POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Business Growth Manager is responsible for:

  • Enhancing the Fleet and business operations within the designated area. Cultivating Fleet, Business, and retail sales channels by establishing connections with local enterprises and overseeing renewal initiatives. Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager.

Department/Business/Location:
Sales / Jaguar Land Rover

IMPORTANT:
Travel between various sites and client locations is necessary.

Reports to:
Fleet Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new business opportunities through outreach beyond showroom traffic, identifying and following up on potential sales leads.
  • Oversee renewal processes within the dealership/group.
  • Assist retail sales representatives with product knowledge and business insights.
  • Manage direct sales initiatives and related activities.
  • Deliver outstanding client experiences throughout the sales journey, achieving exceptional Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Participate in marketing and networking events to enhance local visibility and connections.
  • Collaborate with the aftersales team to generate leads for their department.
  • Comply with all regulations and standards pertaining to Fleet sales.
  • Provide support to fellow Business Development Managers and Fleet operations as needed.
  • Counsel corporate clients on vehicle specifications and the financial implications of various funding options.
  • Maintain an accurate database of corporate customers.
  • Ensure timely pre-delivery inspections and communicate any delays to clients.
  • Keep precise stock availability records.
  • Accurately assess part exchange vehicles and finance terms.
  • Report weekly and monthly performance metrics against targets, communicating all activities and sales to the manufacturer promptly and accurately.
Participate in the development of sales campaigns and promotional activities. Ensure the safety and security of personnel, vehicles, and property at all times, reporting any known issues or hazards.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.

Relevant product knowledge.
Experience

Experience in the automotive industry.
Previous experience in a Fleet role.
