About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and compassionate community perinatal team as a Senior Clinical Practitioner for Perinatal Care. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and provide high-quality perinatal services to mums and families in the perinatal period.

Main Duties

As a Senior Clinical Practitioner for Perinatal Care, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical expertise, judgement, and care planning as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to promote recovery-based care programmes and set high standards for the delivery of care to service users and their families.

Person Specification

Education

  • MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
  • First degree in Registered Health profession
  • Registered Practitioner

Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of a range of approaches to perinatal mental health assessment and of psychosocial interventions
  • Confident in the delivery of care to service user group
  • Skilled in delivering evidence-based practice for patients who self-harm or attempt suicide

Experience

  • Substantial post-qualification experience
  • Significant experience of risk assessment and management and its application in practice
