Job Title: Perinatal Psychiatry Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Specialist Perinatal Community Health Team (SPCMHT) based at Leyland House. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering obstetric liaison, psychiatric outpatient clinics, and home visits. They will also contribute to the Consultant On Call rota and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Main Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality patient care, including antenatal and postnatal consultations
• Contribute to the development of the SPCMHT and its services
• Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Person Specification:
• MBBS or equivalent qualification
• Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
• Entry on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of interview
• Section 12 approved
• AC status or within 6 months of interview
