Engineering Stores Controller

As the Engineering Stores Controller at Valeo Foods UK, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by managing the engineering stores and maintaining the availability of essential spare parts and materials.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Inventory Management:** Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor inventory turnover, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- **Spare Parts Procurement:** Review purchasing requests, liaise with engineers, and coordinate with the purchase ledger to ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
- **Quality and Cost Optimization:** Drive a culture of quality and cost consciousness, seeking the best possible materials and suppliers to meet our operational needs.
- **Kitting Lists and Reverse Engineering:** Collaborate with the engineering team to create and implement kitting lists for proactive maintenance, and explore reverse engineering techniques to expand our supplier database and improve lead times, cost, and quality.
**Requirements:**
- **Engineering Knowledge:** Strong understanding of engineering, machine parts, and ordering systems.
- **Computer Skills:** Proficient in Excel, Word, and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Holistech.
**Additional Information:**
**Salary:** £32,000 per annum
**Hours:** Full-time, Monday to Friday
