About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Director to join our Pensions team at TLT LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a varied workload, advising on all aspects of pension schemes, and working closely with trustees, employers, and benefit consultancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on pension schemes, including employer and trustee advisory and governance, buy-ins, and buy-outs.
  • Work directly with clients, establishing strong relationships and providing expert guidance on pensions-related matters.
  • Liaise closely with our partners nationwide, assisting with complex work and long-term projects.
  • Operate as a senior member of the team, managing and supervising junior members, and supporting the development and growth of the team.
  • Participate in business development activities, nurturing new and existing client relationships.
Requirements
  • A qualified solicitor with 10+ years of PQE and experience advising trustees and employers on all aspects of pensions.
  • Experience supervising junior members within a team.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines.
  • Ability to confidently provide strategic advice to a variety of clients.
  • Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development.
