If you are a Mechanical or Pipeline Engineer seeking advancement; with robust Fitness for Service (FFS) expertise; familiarity with Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and a minimum of 5 years' experience in Mechanical, Materials or a related field, we encourage you to consider this opportunity with Penspen.

Main Purpose of Role:

Overseeing Asset Integrity projects, which encompasses project delivery, client account management, and resource allocation.

Delivering technical proficiency while collaborating closely with clients to mitigate asset failure risks.

Supporting bids and proposals in conjunction with the regional Sales and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Excellence

  • Execute integrity-related analyses such as fitness for service evaluations, life extension assessments, Direct Assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Capable of diagnosing issues and proposing solutions utilizing pressure systems and pipeline codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Centre of Engineering Excellence (CEE) to ensure technical delivery and enhance regional capabilities.
  • Actively participate in the Technical Excellence community.

Project Management

  • Oversee projects in accordance with contracted scope, within budgeted manhours, and to high-quality standards.
  • Cultivate client relationships to sustain and grow the Asset Integrity business.
  • Manage consultants to adhere to project budget and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Project Performance requirements.

Quality Management

  • Accountable for overall performance regarding technical quality in line with the Quality Plan.
  • Ensure adherence to Corporate Technical Assurance requirements.
  • Provide leadership, insights, and drive resolution of technical project-related challenges.

Key Relationships:

  • Director of Asset Integrity
  • Centre of Engineering Excellence (CEE)
  • Colleagues in various disciplines across different offices
  • Project controls/planning team
  • Proposals and Sales team
  • Client Engagement

Financial Dimensions:

  • Assess manhour requirements for bids and proposals, supporting bid pricing.
  • Identify variations in scope on ongoing projects to generate additional business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely completion of weekly timesheets and approval.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

  • At least 10 years of consulting experience in Onshore Oil & Gas Integrity.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present at international conferences and to clients, as well as facilitate workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant institution is preferred.
