Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our mechanical engineering efforts for microwave and RF subsystem projects. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the entire process from design to production, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D models and drawings using Solidworks, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Manage and control engineering drawings and documentation, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Design and develop manufacturing documentation, including reliability analysis and testing.
- Handle engineering changes through ECN procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO and BS standards.
- Design and optimize machined, punched, cast, or molded parts, exploring new suppliers and materials for cost efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews and evaluate mechanical properties using 3D analysis software.
- Design and develop jigs and fixtures, continuously improving process and maintenance documentation.
- Deploy manufacturing documentation using our established systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of industrial experience.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D solid modeling, with Solidworks as a preferred tool.
- Experience with 3D thermal and stress analysis using finite element modeling tools.
- Knowledge of machining, casting, molding, coating, and plating processes, as well as RoHS and WEEE compliance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearance for this role.
