Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist - Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist - Technologist to join our team at LeMieux. As a key member of our Design team, you will be responsible for managing the fit and technical process of all horse products and accessories from initial sample until delivery handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the fit and technical process of all horse products and accessories from initial sample until delivery handover.
- Check the quality and makeup of samples across multiple product areas.
- Oversee all aspects of garment fit, testing, and wearer trials.
- Follow through with overseas factories on comments to be actioned and ensure all products are fit to proceed to full production.
- Update size specs, write up, and record comments and data.
- Monitor the sampling process and update the critical path.
- Assist in Quality Control, checking production/received stock for sizing and fabric consistency.
- Work with the Returns department to ensure product improvement.
- Daily liaison with overseas suppliers to ensure deadlines are met and the critical path stays up to date.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of pattern cutting, construction, and manufacturing techniques.
- Experience working with overseas factories.
- CAD skills and experience using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Flexible attitude to work, with the ability to adjust to the constantly changing needs of the business.
- The ability to work alone, on one's own initiative, as well as within a team and in a fast-paced environment.
