Role Overview

This full-time position will support the Retail Supervisor in achieving a harmonious blend of customer interaction and operational efficiency. The Retail Operations Specialist will oversee product ordering, sales reporting, and inventory management while collaborating with various departments to enhance guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage various inventory processes and administrative tasks, including retail supplies replenishment and merchandise inventory audits.
  • Provide guidance and delegate daily responsibilities to team members, including scheduling and product information dissemination.
  • Assist with administrative functions such as banking, daily deposits, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead the development of training programs and process improvements for retail operations.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to align marketing promotions and enhance brand knowledge.
  • Utilize the POS system to analyze sales data and trends, optimizing retail merchandise performance.
  • Train team members on POS system operations and daily retail processes.
  • Address guest inquiries and assist with retail-related questions, including gift cards and returns.
  • Support the Retail Supervisor in the hiring process and candidate interviews.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, with a preference for specialty or high-end retail.
  • Familiarity with inventory and product ordering software is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for craft beer and a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic situations.
