Job Description

Job Title: Night Coordinator Nurse

Job Summary:

Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Night Coordinator Nurse to lead and manage the quality of nursing care for service users during night shifts. As a pivotal member of the operational management team, you will provide guidance, supervision, and training to junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage clinical duties to ensure quality and safety is maintained
  • Provide nursing leadership and support to nursing staff on night shifts
  • Undertake clinical supervision with night staff
  • Identify nighttime cost pressures and take steps to minimize/eradicate their impact on the budget
  • Manage staff allocation, redeployments, and daily numbers on the ward
  • Work closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for the night and day teams
  • Provide statistics and reports as required by the Hospital Director/Deputy Hospital Director

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as RMN/RNMH/RNLD First level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills, and knowledge
  • Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment
  • Relevant Clinical Experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills
