Fashion Buying Assistant

About the Role
We are Sosandar, a leading online fashion brand, seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fashion Buying Assistant to join our growing team. As a key member of our Buying/Design team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our fashion buying cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain critical path/monthly boards to track the fashion buying cycle.
- Place purchase orders and complete order amendments, including delivery delays, quantity adjustments, and price amendments.
- Prepare fit rails in advance of fit sessions and attend fit sessions to update critical path accordingly.
- Chase outstanding samples on a weekly basis and update the buying team on status.
- Complete regular competitive shops and report back to the wider team to provide a good knowledge and understanding of competitors.
- Maintain the sample library, preparing samples for meetings.
- Support sample handling for cross-functional teams, including marketing, press, and online.
- Create fashion trend boards for buying meetings.
- Take minutes in buyer meetings and circulate.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, highly organized team player with strong communication skills.
- Someone with great attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion.
- A willingness to support the Buying Design team in sample management and all admin-related tasks.
- A desire to progress within the fashion buying industry.
