Fashion Buying Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fashion Buying Coordinator to join our Buying Design team at Sosandar. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our fashion buyers, ensuring the smooth running of the fashion buying cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide full and highly administrative support to the fashion Buying/Design team, including creating and maintaining critical path/monthly boards.
  • Purchase Orders: Place purchase orders and complete order amendments, including delivery delays, quantity adjustments, and price amendments in the system.
  • Sample Management: Prepare the fit rails in advance of fit sessions, attend fit sessions, and update critical path accordingly.
  • Competitive Shops: Complete regular competitive shops and report back to the wider team to provide a good knowledge and understanding of competitors.
  • Sample Library: Maintain the sample library, preparing samples for meetings.
  • Support Functions: Support sample handling for cross-functional teams, including marketing, press, and online.
  • Trend Boards: Create fashion trend boards for buying meetings.
  • Meeting Support: Take minutes in buyer meetings and circulate.

Requirements:

  • Team Player: Enthusiastic, highly organized team player with strong communication skills.
  • Fashion Knowledge: Someone with great attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion.
  • Supportive: A willingness to support the Buying Design team in sample management and all admin-related tasks.
  • Progressive: A desire to progress within the fashion Buying industry.
