Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide full and highly administrative support to the fashion Buying/Design team, ensuring the smooth running of the whole fashion buying cycle.
- Purchase Order Management: Place purchase orders and complete order amendments, including delivery delays, quantity adjustments, and price amendments in the system.
- Sample Management: Prepare the fit rails in advance of fit sessions, attend fit sessions, and update the critical path accordingly.
- Competitive Analysis: Complete regular competitive shops and report back to the wider team to provide a good knowledge and understanding of competitors.
- Sample Library Management: Maintain the sample library, preparing samples for meetings.
- Support for Cross-Functional Teams: Support sample handling for cross-functional teams, including marketing, press, and online.
- Fashion Trend Boards: Create fashion trend boards for buying meetings.
- Meeting Support: Take minutes in buyer meetings and circulate.
- Team Player: Enthusiastic, highly organized team player with strong communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Great attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion.
- Supportive: A willingness to support the Buying Design team in sample management and all admin-related tasks.
- Progressive: A desire to progress within the fashion Buying industry.
