About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Crisis Responder to join our team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our First Response Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide brief clinical risk assessments to identify individuals at risk of harm.
  • Develop and implement short-term contingency plans to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in crisis.
  • Work collaboratively with other mental health services, police, ambulance services, and local authorities to provide comprehensive support.
  • Implement brief solution-focused interventions to empower patients, carers, and families in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community agencies to ensure seamless referrals and support.
